How the Record Paths Work
Garfield County's public jail materials do not offer a searchable roster or a recent-bookings feed. The Sheriff/Jail is therefore the local contact for current county custody and the custodian for an existing county booking or incident record. Utah Courts Xchange is a separate route for a public case and disposition. The Utah Department of Corrections has another system for people in state incarceration, probation, or parole. Those systems answer different questions, and none is a substitute for the other.
We organize those official paths, the Sheriff GRAMA request process, the local court distinction, and documented city records contacts in one place. The site does not create, host, alter, or release a booking record or photograph. A booking accusation is not a conviction, and the court record remains the source for a later public outcome.

This is not a government office and has no affiliation with the Garfield County Sheriff's Office, Garfield County Jail, Utah Department of Corrections, Utah courts, or another public agency. We cannot confirm who is in custody, release a person, post bond, arrange visits, transfer funds, obtain an official record, or provide legal advice.

- We cannot guarantee that an agency address, fee, form, or third-party service remains unchanged.
- We cannot interpret an arrest, warrant, news item, or booking record as a final court result.
Only the responsible Sheriff, jail, court, corrections agency, or other originating government office can provide or confirm its own record.
